As Canada moves forward toward recreational use legalization on October 17, 2018, Kush Bottles, Inc. (OTCQB: KSHB) (“Kush Bottles” or the “Company”), a leading provider of packaging, supplies, vaporizers, gases, solvents, accessories and branding solutions for the regulated cannabis industry, announced today the launch of Kush Supply Co., a new subsidiary based in Toronto, Ontario, with boots on the ground in support of their distribution apparatus. This new subsidiary will serve licensed producers, processors, retailers and distributors throughout Canada and will be led by Gordon Woolley, Vice President, and Mark Doerr, Regional Sales Director.
I like this company and have covered some of their earnings, news and developments in these pages. They don’t grow and probably don’t have a whole lot of potting soil under their fingernails but supply a wide variety of cannabis infrastructure items that the industry needs. In a previous column, I likened them to the guys with the brooms behind the elephants at the circus. But I heard a better analogy, supplied by one of the sales reps up from the U.S. at the MJBizCon Int’l event in Toronto that just concluded today. “This is the gold rush, and we supply the picks and shovels”, to all the would-be prospectors in this space- brilliant.
Unlike some of the other U.S.-based vendors at the Toronto event that appear blithely clued out about the Health Canada’s stringent packaging and display regulations, it was clear from even a casual discussion that Kush Bottles is up to speed. They understand the unique needs of this market, and working within the guidelines put forth by Health Canada, Kush Supply Co. is positioned to become a leading provider of child-resistant product lines and other innovative solutions
Canada has become a global leader in national cannabis reform with its adult-use program, and we are excited to support the significant growth happening in this market,” said Nick Kovacevich, CEO of Kush Bottles. “We believe Kush Supply Co. is well situated to capitalize on the momentum in Canada leading up to its national launch later this year.
Welcome to Canada guys -looks like you’ll fit in just fine.
