September 5, 2018 Toronto, Canada – 21 TON NOC, Inc., owners and operators of CannabisDaily.today and Puffinstyle.com, two digital publishers covering the cannabis space, are pleased to announce that these web properties have been named as media sponsors for two upcoming series of events.   The Cannabis Drinks Expo, in San Francisco, CA in July 2019, and NICHE Canada’s Cannabis & Our Community Event Series, taking place in Toronto, Calgary and Vancouver this fall.

Cannabis Daily started earlier this year as a cannabis industry blog and has developed into a major source of inbound referral traffic for a number of industry participants and associated service businesses.   The recent launch of Puffinstyle.com complements the business-oriented aspect of Cannabis Daily’s editorial coverage with a web portal for cannabis culture and lifestyle.

“These sponsorships are great opportunities for us to build on the increased awareness of our digital publishing brands, which have already grown rapidly this past year”, said Eric Vengroff, Chief Executive Officer of 21 TON NOC, Inc.  “We look forward to these events and will do everything we can to increase visibility for them on behalf of the organizers.”

Puffinstyle.com founder Johanne Britton said, “Our new media sponsorship with NICHE Canada will show our readers that we are committed to education just as much as the culture and lifestyle topics that form our tagline and our mission”.

Canada is now six weeks away from legalizing recreational cannabis. And societal reform is no easy task. There is a huge effort underway nationally ensuring that governments, businesses and communities are ready and able to create a safe and thriving new industry.

NICHE travels the country speaking to patients, businesses, industry and government officials and consistently hears that public education is the foundation for the successful implementation of a legalized cannabis regime.  They believe that engagement, communication and collaboration will not only build bridges within the industry, it will help reduce the stigma surrounding cannabis.  They are not just on the path to legalization – they are on the path to normalization.

The forums will target the needs of communities and the goal is to ensure people gain a better understanding of the business development opportunities and how their organization can smoothly transition to the new legal and regulatory framework.

The Cannabis & Our Community Event Series will take place in the following cities and times:

TORONTO – Tuesday, September 25, 2018 – https://www.nichecanada.com/toronto-cannabis-our-community

CALGARY – Tuesday, October 23, 2018 –  https://www.nichecanada.com/calgary-cannabis-our-community

VANCOUVER – Tuesday, November 27, 2018 –  https://www.nichecanada.com/vancouver-cannabis-our-community

It will be an opportunity to educate stakeholders from local government, tourism, work safety, health care, insurance and other sectors about how they can capitalize on the benefits, while mitigating any potential risk.   “We are very happy that Cannabis Daily and Puffin Style share the same commitment to cannabis health and education as we are, and will be there to ensure that cannabis education, understanding and societal acceptance is communicated and made available to everyone”, said Andrew Jensen, Director, Cannabis & Our Community Series for NICHE Canada.

The second event that Cannabis Daily will be covering extensively is the Cannabis Drinks Expo, which will take place in San Francisco next July.   Interest in cannabis and CBD-infused beverages is accelerating and evidence of the growing trend landed on the cannabis industry like an A-bomb three weeks ago with the announcement by Constellation Brands and Canopy Growth that the former had just invested $5 billion (CDN) in the latter.  Canopy Growth’s CEO, Bruce Linton, will be the keynote speaker for this event.

Cannabis Daily is a big follower of the cannabis beverage industry and will report on this segment before, during and after the event.
